Raina Coposky

Raina Coposky is an Associate Attorney at North State Law Firm who has a love and passion for serving the local community. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Theoretical Mathematics, Raina embarked on an adventurous career in the United States Army, beginning her journey as a Field Artillery Officer in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and then, around ten duty stations later, ending her journey retiring as a Public Affairs Officer out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

After her retirement, Raina wanted to continue to serve her community through practicing law. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law, where she served as President of the Christian Legal Society, participated in the McIntyre-Whichard Legal Fellowship program, and interned at the North Carolina Lieutenant Governor’s Office. 

While in law school, Raina also engaged in extensive research and study in order to earn her LLM from Nottingham-Trent University School of Law in the United Kingdom. The topic of her dissertation centered on vaccine manufacturers’ immunity from civil liability under social contract and nonreciprocal risk theory frameworks. 

Raina has two beautiful daughters and they reside in Raleigh, North Carolina with their papillon puppy Mercy Ella and their overly sophisticated cat Sophia. While being die-hard Steelers fans, they also love to travel, go to the movies, and relax on the beach.”
